Homework! MG is not a huge fan of doing homework. And to her dislike, her teacher assigns it every night! She never has a problem doing it, but certainly doesn't enjoy it. She would much rather watch TV or play Wii. First grade sure is tough! :)

Ditto. I wish Ainsley's teacher would "spice it up" a bit, but how creative can you get with writing spelling words? I backed off a few months ago and just told her, "Okay, if you don't want to do your homework, don't do it." She looked at me very puzzled, but said, "Okay." I wrote on her paper that she turned in, "Ainsley has no excuse for not doing her work except her own laziness." That's all it took... no more complaints about doing it now!
