JF had her 4 year old visit to the doctor today...which meant 4 shots!! I had her restrained on my lap while the nurse gave her the shots but JF is strong and got her arm away from me and tried to pull the shot out of her leg!! Oops!! Other than that, just a second of crying and she was over it!

Today was the first day of VBS at our church. All 3 kids are participating and I am a Crew Leader for one of the 4/5/6th grade crews. This is the logo on my shirt!

We found a black widow spider in our grapes today!!! It came home in the package from the store and lived in our refrigerator for a few days before being discovered...we even ate some of the grapes a day or so before discovering it!! GROSS!!

I completed my first triathlon as a team this morning with 2 good friends!! I did the bike leg. We came in 2nd place for the female team division! :) "Steve" competed solo and came in 3rd place in his age division...missing 2nd place by only 20 seconds and 1st place by 2 minutes!

The first fish caught during our camping trip!

We went on a short camping trip as a "test run" to see how the kiddos would handle it. The last time we went camping JF wasn't even walking. It went great...besides being SUPER HOT and getting hit by a monsoon storm. We will go again for longer once the weather cools off a bit!

The kids really enjoyed fishing and they were so anxious to do it. JF and GA don't even have hooks on their lines at this point, but they don't know it! :)

I took the kids today (along with some friends) to one of the local parks that has a water feature. It was a super hot day so the cool water felt good!

The Michael Jackson memorial service was televised today. I didn't sit down to watch it but did have it on while I did things around the house.

I often go to Target on Sunday afternoon's all by myself with no children! It is a nice time to indulge in one of my addictions!! LOL!! :)
