Ouch! My foot after surgery. I think this picture is hilarious!! A friend of mine took it for my picture of the day while she was being my "nurse" while my mom and "Steve" had to be at work. My ankle sure does look tiny with my foot so huge!! LOL!!! Cracks me up! :)

GA and I were getting ready to leave to go get JF from school today when I heard him say "eewww"! I went to see what he was referring to and saw my full, 150 FL OZ bottle of laundry detergent spilled out all over my floor and GA had stepped in it!!! I guess the vibrations of the washer "pushed" it right off and the lid broke and the soap went everywhere!! I was thankful this time around that I had not bought expensive laundry detergent!! Ugh. (I was too flustered to think to take a picture of the actual mess, but here is the bottle and broken lid!)

We took the kids up to the top of Miller Canyon to the frog pond this afternoon. They loved finding all the frogs and snakes in the water...and loved the dogs and chickens walking around everwhere! Fun times!

Our good friend Steve (for real, his name is Steve, just a coincidence!!) was baptized today! It was an exciting day for him and his family. I was happy to be able to share it with them.

Today was a day full of soccer with pictures starting at 7am for MG, then MG's game at 8, followed by JF's game at 11. I didn't have my camera with me and didn't take a picture of a game. This is a picture of one of GA's soccer balls...he seems a little obsessed with soccer and soccer balls since it is a pretty big part of our weeks right now. Kind of a weird picture for the day, but a part of our lives right now. (and once again one of those weird pictures that won't upload the right direction)

What an odd thing we came home to this evening after a birthday party...there were probably at least 15 cows, calves, and bulls in the road and surrounding area eating the grass at the entrance to our neighborhood. Weird!!!

JF had her first soccer game of the season today! She was pretty timid out on the field, but did run hard to try and get the ball! :) I am not really sure she had any idea what was going on, but she sure was cute to watch. :)

MG had a birthday party at the movies watching "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" in 3D, so I also took JF along and we sat in the back and watched the movie, too! It was a cute movie...both girls really enjoyed it!

I have been wanting to change GA's room and get him out of the toddler bed into a twin. I didn't want to repaint or anything crazy so I have been looking at this bedding/curtains at Target because it matches his walls and I can incorporate it in with his frogs. Well, it went on clearance so I bought it. Whatch think??

Today we said goodbye to our dog, Rella. :( We have had her since she was 8 weeks old. She is a great dog but didn't get the attention she deserved from us. She was too big for the kids to really play with so she ended up outside a lot not getting much attention. Some friends of ours took her home and they are loving her! They have 3 rambunctious boys who are so excited to have her. They are spoiling her already! She will be much happier with them, which makes us happy for her!

We took the kids to the rodeo today. MG even participated in the Muttin' Bustin' event. (riding a sheep!) It was pretty hardcore...MG is one of the few kids who didn't walk away crying after being throw from the sheep and stepped on or kicked. Those sheep are crazy!! :) We had a good time!
