Today I completed my first ever 5K race. This was my first goal on my way to the triathlon I plan on doing this August. It was tough, but I did it without walking once!! And I got a way better time than I thought I would!

This week was Spring Break and MG went to basketball camp everyday for a few hours in the morning. She really enjoyed it! :)

MG playing Wii on the little TV we have put in the living room (thanks A&B) to temporarily replace our big TV that GA broke! We don't have satelitte service and have put it on hold until September...maybe by then we will buy a new TV...but for now at least we can play video games and watch movies!

The joys of living in AZ and having swing sets over rock...this is JF's head after falling off a swing and landing on a rock today at playgroup. Luckily, she is okay.

I finally had to give in today and go grocery shopping. I have not done a "real" grocery trip since we lost our commissary priviledges on the 1st of February! I stocked up well on my last trip there since we survived this long without buying much more than fresh stuff. I was not looking forward to the experience and really didn't have a very fun time since I am not very familiar with the store...I only go there for fresh stuff and super sales! But by the time I was done I actually spend about $110 less than I normally did at the commissary!!!! I was pleasantly surprised! :) Maybe I was being cautious since I was afraid of what the bill might be!! :)

This is what I found in our driveway at about 3AM this morning after hearing the garbage can fall to the ground! I snuck out to catch a picture. Nasty things!! This is the third or fourth time they have pushed our garbage can over, but the first time that I have caught them in the act! There were six of them!

MG was chosen for the second year in a row to have her artwork displayed in the public school's city wide art show. We thought it was pretty funny that her picture was of a clown, since I hate clowns!

MG actually wanted me to take her picture!! I had the camera out and she sat down so cute at my feet and gave me a great smile! Not something that happens very often...I usually hear moans when the camera comes out! :)

Today "Steve" put a sprinkler system in our backyard in hopes of establishing our grass a bit better than last year!! (I forgot to water it a lot and this AZ sun sucks it dry! Oops!)

Well, GA threw the remote control at the TV and shattered it! Oh my!!! The boy has quite an arm on him! And now we don't have a TV.

(The bright white spot on the right is the point of impact, and then there are tons of cracks spreading off from there. The picture certinaly doesn't do it justice!)

The training has begun. I have committed myself to doing a triathlon this summer and I have a lot of work to do before then in order to successfully complete it!! And yes, I have sunscreen on and I was finished running before 10am for all you worriers out there! :)

(I am laughing really hard at the thought that I am about to run! I despise running. But seeing the light around me in this picture, I guess I was in good company!)

Taking a picture a day is becoming increasingly difficult with all my camera issues...on Sunday GA got his hands on my camera and threw it on the tile...now it really doesn't want to turn on and take pictures! So, I used my mom's camera to take our pictures up the mountains and had issues with hers, so I decided to get out our old digital camera that was in the garage sale pile. It is huge and weighs about 10 lbs! LOL...but it seemed to do the job...until this morning when I realized why we got a new camera in the first place. It doesn't want to work now either!!! UGH!! I am frustrated for sure. It is bad when I have to start taking my picture of the day with my web cam...not great quality as the picture today shows!

We actually woke up to snow this morning. We don't ever get much and it is usually gone within a few hours, but it is always fun to see!!

It was cold this morning and I was thankful I park my vehicle in the garage..this is what "Steve's" car looked like. I thought the "design" in the ice was really cool! (Taken on my cell phone, so sorry the quality isn't great!)

The mountains got a good bit of snow last night, so we went up and played today! :)

The kids really enjoyed playing in our pop-out tunnel today. They don't play with it often, but when they do, they have a blast! :) Check out the static in their hair!

A friend and I walk the mall in the morning about 3 times a week (until it warms up enough for us to be outside) and if the kids are good during our walk, we always let them play in the play area. The mall stores are not open yet and we always get to the play area right after it has been cleaned, which is nice! :)

Tonight two girlfriends and I were "husbandless" and decided to be brave and went out to eat with all of our kids! It was a good time! :)
