Got out the waffle maker this morning for breakfast!! That doesn't happen very often...but when we run out of milk for cereal and can't just run out to the store, we have to resort to more exciting things to eat for breakfast!! :)

The rule is fever free with no medicine for 24 hours to go to school...well, MG has been running a random fever all week!! She seems fine all day and then evening comes and a fever comes along with it! Ugh. It is frustrating to say the least! In the beginning, I assumed she was following GA with the flu but it doesn't seem to be developing into that. So, she has been home from school all week and I have just keep JF home from preschool as well. Here they are playing SpinArt on the computer!

Well, Mr. GA has been officially diagnosed with the flu! He is not having a fun time...and I am just hoping it doesn't spread to everyone else. MG and I are running fevers and have little coughs, but hopefully it won't get any worse!!

"Steve" participated in his last triathlon of the season at the University of Arizona this morning. I have been pretty sick, so I wasn't able to go cheer him on, but he had a good time. I was bummed to miss it!

Every year my MOPS group does the Antiquities fundraiser, which for the past two years I have helped organize. Being part of the planning means I get my pictures for free, which is the best deal!! Well, this year I will be getting lots of super cute, free pictures of only two of my kids! :( GA started not feeling well and ended up falling asleep at our picture appointment time, so I only had the girls done. I guess we will end up with some cute "sister" pictures. I am pretty bummed that all 3 of them won't be in them! :(

A friend of mine came and got GA for me for a bit and took him to a birthday party so I could have some kid free time (the girls were at school)!! It was a dump truck birthday party so GA had a great time!

Ouch! My foot after surgery. I think this picture is hilarious!! A friend of mine took it for my picture of the day while she was being my "nurse" while my mom and "Steve" had to be at work. My ankle sure does look tiny with my foot so huge!! LOL!!! Cracks me up! :)

JF has been pretty shy so far during soccer games and we usually have to bribe her to get her to even go out on the field during a game. But today, she did great! Went right out and played her best!! :)

I am not much of a fall decorator, but I love having my little pumpkin dish on our bar with candy corn in it. We have already been through two different flavors! :) Just a fun little treat to nibble on when we walk by!

GA and I were getting ready to leave to go get JF from school today when I heard him say "eewww"! I went to see what he was referring to and saw my full, 150 FL OZ bottle of laundry detergent spilled out all over my floor and GA had stepped in it!!! I guess the vibrations of the washer "pushed" it right off and the lid broke and the soap went everywhere!! I was thankful this time around that I had not bought expensive laundry detergent!! Ugh. (I was too flustered to think to take a picture of the actual mess, but here is the bottle and broken lid!)

Michelangelo does not live in a cage, but just wanders around freely in our yard. Today I found him trying to escape through the little crack between our gate and block wall. Silly turtle!

We took the kids up to the top of Miller Canyon to the frog pond this afternoon. They loved finding all the frogs and snakes in the water...and loved the dogs and chickens walking around everwhere! Fun times!

Nothing better could represent my day...my vacuum and carpet cleaner! I got all the carpets cleaned today along with most of the house!
